I wasn’t really aware how remarkable the little Spider roadster was, until I got behind the wood rimed wheel and in full command of its twin cam zesty motor. It was love at first drive.
Driving through the Melbourne suburbs during the springtime enjoying the top down and distinctive note of the 4 cylinder twin cam jewel of a motor made me feel alive in a way I had not quite experienced, other then behind the wheel of my classic 911. It was a different proposition altogether.
